Ben and Jamey’s Prince Edward County maternity photos was probably a highlight of my summer thus far. Ben owns Westlake Wakeboard School in Prince Edward County, so we hopped in his boat and jetted over to the Sand Dunes at Sandbanks. They chose an area that would really only be accessible by boat or a very long hike – at 30 weeks pregnant I think Jamey was thankful for the former.
Ben and Jamey’s love for the water, beach, sun and surf is evident from the moment you meet them. They were married in Bali last year, a place that has become near and dear to them, and one that they hope to take their daughter to one day. It only seemed natural to suggest that we bring a surfboard along for the shoot and incorporate it into their photos and they were both stoked about the idea. While balancing on a board while pregnant is no easy task, Jamey rocked it and I’m so happy with the results!
